Please.. If you are considering a love one to reside here, please check into their history as well as abuse reported and proven. Im not saying that the nurses and techs are unprofessional however, there are some, many, that are less then compassionate. I would highly recmnd NHC.
Signature of Columbia is a great place to work. Staff and residents are more like a big family than anything else. The facility is very clean. Residents are happy. The atmosphere is uplifting. I can't see myself anywhere but here.
My Mother has been there a few months now and as long as I was coming to visit everyday the staffing nurses treated her wonderful. But minute I had an emergency illness and could not make it there for a few weeks according to my mom, they started not answering her belly, physical therapy stopped, and medications were changed, and health declined and she caught an Ecoli infection, and the nurses were treadingher rudely. Please if you have a love one make sure that you can be there on a regular basis or don't send them here! It's impossible to get a hold if the Dr. Kennedy. Who us the Dr for this facility m, and that gives be nurses free range to run things their way, if they treat my mom who can verbalize her needs and wants, it makes me question the treatment they give to patients that are non verbal.
