I could have probably ignored the above items if it had not been for the terrible service.
4. When we were about to leave, he said “Y’all can take your check if you need it.” Very passive aggressive, and I’m still not sure what he meant because when we tried to talk to him he just kept talking in circles and acting like we were crazy for being frustrated with him and the situation.
1. My battery was dead upon arrival to pick up my car. He didn’t call to let us know this, and we were instead surprised by this bad news when we showed up to pick up the vehicle. He tried to blame it on the life of the battery, but when we took it to an auto store afterwards, they said the battery was good. He just kept the doors open with lights on for too long.
I couldn't say anything better about how amazing my car looks! Not going to lie my 2 year old destroyed it and now it looks brand new! Highly recommend them!!
3. The credit card machine was not working and he gave us a hard time about our cards not working when we had just used them hours before with no problems. Then, when we wrote him a check, he made a rude comment about if it would bounce or not. So insulting.
“Somewhat Affordable Auto Cleaning with Terrible Service” would be a more accurate name for this business.
I took a very dirty, very oxidized 95 Mustang GT in and he made her look great. Inside and out, he did an excellent job. I hate to sell her after how great he made her look. And I had people really checking her out looking so good. I will definitely have an easier time selling her after his outstanding job of detailing the heck out of her. HOOAH!!!
My car was NOT detailed, in my opinion. My car was much cleaner when I picked it up, but there were tons of details overlooked. For example: I had to ask for my windows to be cleaned when I picked it up as he said “interior windows are not a part of my interior detailing service.” The windows were dirty to begin with, but dirtier when I picked up my car due to the cleaning agent he used on the interior spraying up onto the windows. Why would windows not be included??? This makes no sense. Additionally, he did not clean out the center console or the pull down cup holder caddy in the back row at all. I can see speckles all over the screens and dash that were not cleaned. These are just a few examples of the things I found to be overlooked and why I was not satisfied with this service being called a “detailing.”
Fantastic job!! My 10 year old car, complete with stains (and I mean STAINS) diesel fuel smell and everything in between came out looking like a shiny new penny - and it smelled great! These guys really take the time and do it right. They do what they say and more, are professional and worth every penny - I highly recommend!
After driving across the country and moving to TN, my car desperately needed detailing. The guys at affordable auto detailing were fantastic and my ride looks brand spankin’ new! Super friendly staff, quick, efficient and all-together an affordable detailing service! Highly recommend!
2. He made a rude comment to my husband “you’re not very handy are you?” because he didn’t know where the button to pop the hood or the lever to open the hood were. First off, why say something like this to a paying customer at all? Second, it isn’t his car, it’s mine, so why should he be familiar with these things? Third, we shouldn’t have to be accessing the engine when we brought our car to be detailed. See #1 above.
I might have recommended this place to someone if the only problems had been with the quality of the cleaning. But after the terrible service we received, no way would I recommend anyone use this place.
