I picked Animal Care Center based on the great reviews. It was my (and my kittens) first time at the vet, so I wasn't sure what to expect. Dr. Corley and his assistant were very helpful, informative, and thorough. They were loving to my kittens as well. We will certainly continue to use this practice and will let our friends know. Thanks for the great experience!
2. Its not my responsibility to have your kennel attendents fill out paperwork properly. That is what training and accountability are for.
As business owners ourselves it is imparitive that you conduct business professionally and set your customer service standards High ! From slip ups with meds to not returning calls to saying something was done to only find out it was never submitted is a major problem .
I strongly advise you edit your response to something more truthful and try to save some face....
Wow! My first experience at Animal Care Center of Carters Creek was absolutely amazing! My dog experiences a lot of anxiety when going to the vet, but the the techs and vets were incredible! They were so sweet and caring. I just moved to town and was dreading having to gather old records. They made it so easy for me to transfer records from my old vet. They pretty much did it for me. I was also set up with an appointment quickly and conviently. The staff was very professional and informative.
Below are the points that show why your response is dishonest.
5. We had my dog examined by professionals today and they confirmed what was never a question. These injuries had occurred days prior. Dr. Corley you told me that you examined my dog yourself the day he was dropped off yourself and he had zero issues or you would have noted them in your chart....
-Tenne, Woody, and Samantha
Thank you Animal Care Center of Carters Creek!
Wow Dr. Corley, integrity and accountability are not your strengths.....
I called and was very nice even while you were blowing smoke and dancing around this issue. I have not asked for anything free or for my money back, but the fact that you are willing to go and mislead consumers about you Dr. Corley and the business you conduct is the real issue.
In response to Dr. Corley:
As much as we love the staff as people we feel our animals would be best served under someone else's care and a place that would place importance and urgency on our animals .
I could go on and on about how excellent my experience was but I recommend that you go for yourself!
I really was hoping we would have loved this veterinarian, however being lied to at our 1st visit made it our last. With an appointment, I was there for 1 hour and 45 minutes. 95% of that time was me waiting in the room with 2 small children and 2 terrified dogs. I left paying $260 with part of that being a "free" $40 dental exam. Don't be fooled!!!
Yesterday I called with what I felt was a serious matter with my dog in the morning ... was told the vet would call us back .. a few hours later no call so I call back and was told the same thing .... fast forward to the evening my husband calls and no answer . My dog never got cared for . This has happened so many times with us where our message is never delivered and we never get a call back . I mean nearly everytime in 2 years !
I dropped my dogs off on Friday and picked them up this morning 12/26/17. When my second dog was walked up to us I noticed a mark on his head. After loading them in the truck and driving 2 minutes to my house that's less then 1/2 mile from the clinic we unloaded and the mark on his head has blood coming from it, a cut near his eye now was bleeding, his nose was scratched and scabbed, and had more blood coming from a cut on his backside. These wounds obviously already had been wiped clean of blood before returning my dog to me to hide the fact that he was bleeding. They had us meet with the vet before returning my dogs and all he had to talk about was teeth cleaning and fecal test but no mention of the injuries my dog had suffered. These issues are 100% unprofessional and unacceptable. At no time was I made aware of any issues with my dogs health, wellbeing, or behavior to help explain these injuries. After asking my better half to call up and ask about the injuries, we were told they were self inflicted by my dog from the kennel he was in. This could be the correct explanation of what caused the injuries but the fact we were not told or warned that issues were causing injuries is troubling and causes natural scepticism. I will not be leaving my two dogs in the care of this business ever again and I warn others who are thinking of using this boarding option to look for other options.
Ok. My husband and I Used to go to Agape and then switched clinics since we got our dog 2 3 years ago. We initially were so happy With everything about this place . In 2 years I will say the communication is horibble. From not returning messages and calls to not faxing insurance documents as promised to administering medicine to my dog and charging me without asking for permission first .
As people the staff are awesome !! Great wonderful personalities and a pleasure to talk to . On a business level they need to have a serious disccussion about communication and the importance of customer service .
3. For my dog to bleed when we arrived home means he was bleeding and cleaned right before he was brought out to us.
4. If the kennels are not safe for pets or have potential hazards for pets that are being boarded why has this not been adjusted for pets safety?
1. When we got home and found the injuries bleeding we did call and we were told that his injuries were caused by his kennel. That shows that the staff was aware of my dogs injury. Also, we were told he would be okay and never offered for us to come back in to be examined.
