The video cameras do not work. The police have actually told the managers that it's now the spot in columbia to score meth. We've had meth labs in some of the rooms. Vehicles have gotten broken into. Rooms have been gotten broken into and cleaned out. Yes the police do drive through randomly but it doesn't stop anything from happening.

This is a shaddy place to stay and I honestly don't know how it is still up and running. You would think it would have been shut down a long time ago, so if your thinking about staying here I sincerely hope that you don't. It's not worth the cheap rates. Anything could happen to you here and it probably will. I hope my review has enlightened you. I'm not exaggerating anything, these things have actually happened yet no one will ever tell you about it. I always hated working here once I found these things out I feel badly for anyone who stays here. The pictures on the internet are nothing like the actual place. It's far far worse.
I used to work at this MOTEL and never stay here if you can avoid it.The housekeepers steal from the rooms when they clean them, and the management won't fire them!Wallets, jewelry, you name it, it's been stolen.They don't clean the rooms very well.One guest found a dead mouse in her bed.The ice machine never gets cleaned out.They do the laundry with watered down soap.The sheets and towels are constantly stained.You would think the jacuzzi rooms would be nicer, but they aren't. They just wash the tubs out with water, no cleaning supplies are used!
The front desk people are actually told to be rude to the guest. We aren't allowed to help or risk punishment. We can't supply extra blankets, pillows, or anything you would think a hotel would offer. We have to find out how many people are in a room and if it's just one we can't give them extra towels no matter what.If your not out by eleven o'clock on the dot you get charged for an extra day if you paid with a credit card. The average police time to get here is 15 minutes. A lot can happen in that time. The internet does not work, and they won't fix it. The pool has been out of service for a long time and they won't fix it. There is mold in quite a few of the rooms and people have actually gotten sick because of it. The smoke detectors don't work in half of the rooms. The fire alarms don't work either. I actually overheard them talking and they paid off people so they could stay open. They give out information over the phone to people calling and asking if so and so was here and when they stayed. When a guest looses a key to a room, they come up and say what room number and we don't even question who they are and give them a key. Some people have walked in on other guests due to this. A women got raped and beaten to this happening. We don't have any snack machines and the drink machines constantly take your money, yet we aren't allowed to give any refunds.
It is infested with roaches, mice, rats, spiders, and we've had cases of bed bugs. They are constantly killing roaches that are in the breakfast area getting into the cereal and whatever else. A woman woke up and had a brown recluse bite her on the face while she was sleeping. The new "management' actually lives on the property yet does nothing about any of this. She has two dogs, a german shepard and a pit bull, yet throws a fit about people having pets with them. One of her dogs actually bit a guest staying here and she didn't even apologize. She is a real piece of work. She brings her dogs into the lobby and they pee and poop all over the lobby, guests have actually stepped in it.
It's not a kid friendly place. The walkways are never cleaned off and one person has stepped on a nail. Some of the employees besides the management live here and they walk around in "skimpy" clothing, drunk and say suggestive things to the guests. There are always parties and drunk people on the property. There have been some guests passed out on the ground. While others have gone door to door trying to get into each one.
