My family's favorite place to eat when making the 20+ year annual holiday run. See the antiques, natural tree arch, longest antique bar in TN & 2 fire places. Friendly staff, great food, clean restrooms. Family owned. Began eatting at Stan's when it was the ONLY thing at this exit. Love their new building.
Seemed to be an urban oasis in the middle of deep country.
First time at Stan's...Clean and modern restroom. Great store, gas station. Didn't go into the small restaurant but it looks nice. Food smelled good, a lot of people were getting their takeout orders. Friendly staff. Perfect stop when traveling. I highly recommend Stan's.
New Building, nice selection of healthy snacks. Not your usual gas stop. The restaurant attached is almost upscale and has an extensive and tasty menu. Service was good, we could tell we had the lazier of the three servers and might have bad if they had not looked out for all patrons instead of their own. This is not your average road trip exit stop. Make a point to run on 'e' just to be able to stop here instead of that stinky 40 year old converted garage to mini mart exit stop.
Found this next to my hotel and was not sure how good it would be since it is attached to a gas station but it was really pretty good. Sort of like a Cracker Barrel. Food was good and cane out hot. Mostly comfort type foods. Service was also good. Will be back.
I loved the Stan's before the rebuild but now I will not go back. Food is poor quality and service wasn't much better. We asked for thousand island dressing and they said we are out, asked for to go cup guess what they were out.. but then we asked if we could get a kiddie cup since it was for a diabetic on a long trip. They said I have to hide that from my boss because he doesn't like giving to go cups at all which is why we have to say we are out. Most of our food was cold and not worth the cost. Will definitely not be going back ever... This new owner doesn't care about service just money money money. Got news for him without good service you want get much repeat cash flow.
